The benefits of investing in real estate with Joown include:

Monthly rental income - Earn rental income and withdraw anytime.
Property appreciation - Your ownership stake appreciates in value as the property appreciates.
No lock-up period - List your ownership stake for sale in our marketplace anytime.
Tax advantages - Benefit from favourable property tax deductions like depreciation.
Empowered ownership - Vote on all key property decisions, from repairs to rent changes.
Save time & energy - A property manager executes all vote decisions and handles the rest.
How does Joown make money?
We make money via the following ways:

5% listing fee on each property (or £5,000; whichever is greater).
2% fee to sellers (or £2,000; whichever is greater) to list their properties on our marketplace. This fee is paid out once the property is closed and the deed is transferred to the new Ltd Company.
0.5% fee to sell tokens on the Joown Marketplace.
Where does the name Joown come from?
We smashed JOint and OWNership together.

We've pioneered the term Joint Ownership which is new way to access property investing so it seemed appropriate to use that.
How frequently does the investment income pay out to investors?
Rental income is paid monthly to your crypto wallet.
You can then transfer these funds to your bank, leave them in your wallet or purchase more tokens. It's entirely up to you.
What region do you buy property in?
We are currently sourcing properties in the North of England.

We will be expanding Nationally later this year.
What is Joown’s investment criteria?
We source single family residential properties as these are the most stable investments.

We look for 2,3 and 4 bedroomed properties.
How many investors can invest in a single property?
That depends on the value of the property and how many investors want to purchase tokens.
We do, however, limit the maximum % any one investor can hold in a property to 20%. This is to ensure that decisions made about the property are fair.
